MNEA Human Rights Committee sponsors 2019 contest

The Missouri NEA Human Rights Committee is sponsoring the 2019 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Essay-Poster Contest for K-12 public school students. "Honoring Dr. King: Looking Back and Moving Forward" is the theme for the 2019 contest.

Winners are chosen at several levels: K–1, 2–3, 4–5, 6–8 and 9–12. Gift cards are awarded to first-place ($50), second-place ($30) and third-place ($20) winners in each of the five categories. Teachers of winning students will receive a gift card.
